Shipping, Return & Exchange Policy
1. Order Processing Time
We currently ship within the continental United States.
Orders to Alaska and Hawaii are available by phone order only and are subject to additional shipping charges.
We do not ship to Puerto Rico, Guam, or other U.S. territories.
All orders are processed within up to 3 business days after payment is confirmed.
For palletized freight (LTL) orders, processing time is 5–8 business days.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Please note: Order processing time and shipping time are calculated separately. Delivery times may be affected by holidays, weather, or carrier delays.
2. Shipping & Delivery Time
Standard Ground Shipping
Estimated delivery: 1–5 business days
Applies to pumps, jacks, and accessories
Freight (LTL) Shipping (Heavy Items)
Applies to hoist kits and other heavy or oversized items (generally over 150 lbs or requiring palletized shipment)
Estimated delivery: 3–9 business days, depending on location
All freight shipments are palletized and shipped via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) carriers
Delivery location must have forklift, dock access, or be shipped to a freight terminal
3. Delivery Restrictions
Orders must be shipped to a physical address within the continental United States
PO Boxes are not accepted (orders may be delayed or canceled)
Alaska & Hawaii
Shipping is available by phone order only and subject to additional freight charges.
Exclusions
We do not ship to Puerto Rico, Guam, or other U.S. territories.
4. Shipping Policy (Free Shipping & Additional Charges)
We offer free shipping on all items within the continental United States.
Free shipping applies only to:
Commercial business addresses with a dock or forklift, or
Delivery to a nearby freight terminal
Additional charges will apply for:
Residential addresses
Rural or farm locations
Limited access delivery
Liftgate service
Delivery appointments or scheduled delivery requests
Redelivery due to missed delivery appointments
Storage or holding fees charged by the carrier
These charges are determined by the freight carrier and will be billed to the customer if applicable.
DAT HOIST LLC reserves the right to select the most economical shipping method, carrier, and delivery arrangement.
5. Taxes
Applicable sales tax may be charged based on your shipping location in accordance with state and local regulations.
6. Returns Policy
Return Eligibility
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items that are:
Unused
Uninstalled
In original condition and packaging
Return Authorization (Required)
All returns must be pre-approved by DAT HOIST LLC.
Customer must contact us and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to returning any item.
Unauthorized returns will be refused and no refund will be issued.
Return Process Requirements
To request a return, customer must provide:
Order number
Product photos
Description of the issue
Approved returns must be shipped back within 7 days of authorization.
Return Costs
Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer
Original shipping charges are non-refundable
Restocking Fee
Approved returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, which will be deducted from the refund.
Refunds
Refunds apply to product cost only (excluding shipping)
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Refund processing time: 3–5 business days after inspection and approval of returned goods
Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
Used or installed products
Modified or damaged items
Custom or special-order products
Items returned without prior authorization
7. Exchange Policy
We do not offer exchanges unless the item is defective, damaged upon delivery, or an error was made by DAT HOIST LLC.
For all other cases (including incorrect orders placed by the customer), exchanges are not available. Customers must follow the return process and place a new order if needed.
All shipping and handling costs related to non-defective returns or replacements are the responsibility of the customer.
DAT HOIST LLC reserves the right to determine whether a product qualifies for exchange due to defect or error.
8. Freight Damage or Missing Items
All shipments must be inspected upon delivery.
Any claims for:
Freight damage
Missing items
must be reported within 5 business days of delivery, along with photos and supporting documentation.
Failure to report within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
