This 6,000 lb trailer idler axle is designed for reliable trailer use and comes fully assembled with 6-lug idler hubs for easier installation.
Built for 6K trailer axle applications, this axle features a 6 on 5.5" bolt pattern, 1/2" wheel studs, and a strong 3" axle tube with 1/4" wall thickness. The axle includes welded 5-bolt brake flanges, allowing brake assemblies to be added in the future if needed.
The axle is designed for underslung leaf spring suspension setups, with spring seats welded on the bottom of the axle. Its cambered steel axle tube construction helps support proper trailer alignment and even tire wear, while the black powder-coated finish provides added surface protection.
